How much euro is starting a company in Netherlands?

To start a company in Netherlands you need make an appointment at a headquarter of the Dutch Chambre of Business (Kamer van Koophandel, shortly KVK). After a visit you need to pay 85 euro by bank. You need an Dutch address for the payment and we recomend you to open a Dutch bank account. Opening a Dutch bank account is monthly around the 5 euro. After the visit your company is started, but you can choose your start date, even if it was before your appointemnt (only around the 3 months back, but if you started to earn money from a later point, you have to let your company start on the date you did get the money, because the Dutch law allows to do that. Some people doesn’t know if they will earn money and in once they start to earn money. Even if you did know you would earn money, you have to fill in the date that you get the money.).

Depending on what you want to do, you need a budget. Most starters in Netherlands starts with around the 10,000 euro.

Keep in mind that you need a work place and it is legal to use your own house as your work place. You need to be registered as resident of a house in Netherlands. Even if you use another location/house, at least you need register your company at your own registered home or at a company building you rent for your business. Keep in mind that most work locations as office are between the 250 euro and 1000 euro if you are alone and need small space. House rents are between the 600 euro and 1500 euro.
